A Plead For Reduction Of School Fees As Covid-19 Crisis Drags Economy ( NANS)

 A representative of the Nigerian Students Sunday Asefon, Leading candidate of the National association of Nigerian students (NANS),  on Saturday begged Nigerian government to reduce School fees as Covid-19 crisis further drags economy into recession.

While speaking on a live program Sunday Asefon, made the calls tagged "THE CONVERSATION" on Newcruse 92.7fm in Ikere, Ekiti state.

Sunday Asefon, said that Nigerian government must be a partner in progress to take its full responsibilities by making education affordable for students after this COVID-19 pandemic.

During this lockdown, some parents have find it difficult to put food on the table for their children, while others are not making enough profit as businesses are not booming as expected, to pay huge school fee for their children will be difficult after pandemic, he said.

Federal and state governments had introduced new policies to ensure students acquire unhindered learning Nigeria which is E-Learning (online teaching) but without proper funding and failure to provides some necessary gadgets needed for students.

Government should help our students who do not have hope to be educated as a matter of urgency, they should slash all the school fees of the higher institutions across the country, to give hope to Nigerian students.
