earlier that Jerry Mallo, the Nigerian man who created the first carbon fibre
sports car in 2019, built a state of the art ventilator as a solution to the
scarcity of the equipment in the country. It should be noted that the machine
is still undergoing some technical upgrades so as to meet the world's standard
on production.
When showcasing the machine, the creator said
creating it is necessary as there is a strong need for a kind of ventilator
that is accessible and cheap. He said that African countries have been facing
the serious need to get one that is affordable in order to powerfully combat
the pandemic. In other news, Hamako Mori (aka Gaming Grandma) 90-year-old woman,
became the oldest gaming YouTuber in the Guinness World Records. Born on
Monday, February 18, 1930, the smart old woman has over 150,000 subscribers on
her YouTube channel. She started video-gaming 39 years ago when she saw her
children passionately involved in it.
"It looked so much fun, and I thought it's not fair if
only children played it. I thought life can be more fun if I knew how to play
it. So I started playing, at first while no one was watching,” Mori said. Aside
from being a gamer, she also keeps all the consoles and game software she has
bought over the years, saying she cherish them as they are memories. Her
present game console is PlayStation 4 and she is much into action games. She
spoke about the difficulty of the gaming genre, detailing how she grew to like
it. "I didn't touch it until recently because it's difficult to play. But
recent action games are visually spectacular, and they often use actors for
characters. So I'm really obsessed with it now,” said Gaming Grandma.
